Santa Barbara, CA– Live Nation is pleased to welcome ADAM CAROLLA & DR. DREW to the Lobero Theatre on February 16th, as part of their new REUNION TOUR.

Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew co-hosted Loveline from 1995 to 2005, providing a decade of hilarious love advice to listeners across the country. Fans and newcomers alike will enjoy the great stories and antics of Loveline and have the opportunity to participate in a live audience interaction with Carolla and Dr. Drew, just like in the great days of the Loveline program.

Adam Carolla is one of the most versatile men in Hollywood.  After cutbacks forced Carolla to quit his syndicated “Adam Carolla Show” broadcast on CBS radio, Carolla started “The Adam Carolla Podcast” with only a computer and a microphone from his home office in Feb. 2009.  In May 2011, ‘The Adam Carolla Show’ was awarded ‘Most Downloaded Podcast in the World’ by the official Guinness Book of World Records.

Dr. Drew Pinsky is the host of "Dr. Drew on Call" and remains the host of Loveline, where he has been taking calls from listeners since 1984.  He was the star of "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" and "Sober House" on VH1, which chronicled the struggle for sobriety and the cycle of addictive disorders.

Both Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew are authors of New York Times bestselling books.  Dr. Drew is the author of bestsellers "The Mirror Effect: How Celebrity Narcissism is Seducing America" and "Cracked: Putting Broken Lives Together Again", and Carolla is the author of bestsellers “In 50 Years We’ll All Be Chicks” and “Not Taco Bell Material”, which was released in Spring 2012.

Carolla was seen as a contestant on ABC’s hit reality series Dancing with the Stars and NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice. He hosted Comedy Central's Too Late with Adam Carolla and starred in TLC's The Adam Carolla Project, which chronicled the renovation and subsequent sale of his boyhood home.  He can now be seen as a correspondent on “The O’Reilly Factor” on FOX News. Dr. Drew recently finished the 6th installment of the series “Rehab with Dr. Drew” and continues to host Loveline.

Tickets are $49.50 and go on sale Friday, November 30th at 10:00 am at LiveNation.com, lobero.com, the Lobero Box Office or charge by phone 805-963-0761.

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation Fight Opioid Addiction Through Education, Progressive Treatment

SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - Opioid addiction is a problem that many Americans don’t have an answer for. This month, federal authorities claimed one of the largest fentanyl seizures in U.S. history-- 97 pounds representing millions of lethal doses --from a house in San Diego. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed three adults found dead in a Vista home a few weeks prior to the bust were killed by fentanyl overdoses. Dr. Brian Couey, Clinical Director for the  Hazelden  Betty Ford Foundation, joined News 8’s Heather Myers  Wednesday  to talk about the opioid epidemic and how the foundation is working tirelessly to fight it.
