Dr. Drew Kicks Off Hillsides Foster Soles Celebrity Event

WHO:             Celebrities like Elton John, Jennifer Lopez and Sugar Ray Leonard kick off the Fourth Annual Hillsides Foster Soles in Los Angeles. Dr. Drew Pinsky will serve as Honorary Chair and Celebrity Auctioneer at the Foster Soles Celebrity Kickoff Event.

WHAT:           Hillsides Foster Soles is an online auction of celebrity autographed shoes, handbags, or personalized items and headshots. The Los Angeles opening event to launch the auction will be hosted by

WHEN:           Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

WHY:              Held during Foster Care Awareness Month in May, Foster Soles raises awareness of national foster care issues and the plight of children and youth in the system.

HOW:             Tickets are $35 online at www.Hillsides.org and $50 at the door. The online auction runs April 25th through May 5^th. Bidders will vie for celebrity shoes, purses, glasses and other accessories as well as set visits and signed scripts until the auction’s closing date on May 5^th.
