Author and International Yoga Instructor Tommy Rosen to Speak at Pasadena Recovery Center

Pasadena Recovery Center is pleased to welcome international yoga instructor and author of “Recovery 2.0: Move Beyond Addiction and Upgrade Your Life,” Tommy Rosen to their groundbreaking speaker series on Wednesday November 5th at 12pm. Rosen is a refreshing pioneer in the recovery and yoga movement who has helped countless individuals find relief from their attachments to substances across the board; alcohol, drugs, pot, coffee, gambling, sex, caffeine, cigarettes, hoarding and beyond. Rosen has spent the last two decades immersed in yoga, recovery and wellness. He holds advanced certifications in both Hatha and Kundalini Yoga and has more than 23 years of recovery from acute drug addiction.
 
As a leader in the burgeoning field of Yoga and Recovery, Rosen has assisted others to holistically heal from addictions of all kinds. He teaches regularly at yoga conferences and festivals, including Wanderlust, Hanuman and Sun Valley to name a few.  He is the host of the Recovery 2.0 Online Conferences, a groundbreaking conference series of over 35 hours of inspiring talks from experts that will help you overcome addiction and thrive in recovery. He also teaches annually at Esalen, Omega and Kripalu. Rosen has been undoubtedly dedicated to yoga & recovery for over 23 years and is proof that these steps really do work.

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation Fight Opioid Addiction Through Education, Progressive Treatment

SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - Opioid addiction is a problem that many Americans don’t have an answer for. This month, federal authorities claimed one of the largest fentanyl seizures in U.S. history-- 97 pounds representing millions of lethal doses --from a house in San Diego. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed three adults found dead in a Vista home a few weeks prior to the bust were killed by fentanyl overdoses.
